    Fall League

Details:

Chestnut Hill Golf Course's Fall League plays each week for 7 weeks. Golfers may join the league as an individual, two-some, three-some, four-some or multiple foursomes. This league is extremely popular and fills quickly.

The League alternates between the front and back 9s each week for variety and challenge.

Time:

The Fall League starts each weekday at 3:30pm. You may choose the day of the week you want to play. For example, if you prefer Tuesdays come each Tuesday to play. Should a particular Tuesday not work one week, come on another day that does work such as a Wednesday. At Chestnut Hill you are not tied down to a day or time. YOU MAY PLAY BEGINNING AT 3:30 ANY WEEKDAY.

Cost:

The cost $25 (includes cart-double occupancy) per round. Payment is made each week when you arrive. The league is set up for Pay as You Go.

There is a $40 Prize Fee due at registration.

Format:

The League format is individual stroke play with Stableford Scoring. This means everyone plays their own ball from tee to green and a point system is used to score the round. Chestnut Hill will provide a handicap (free of charge) to make everyone equal. Handicaps are generated upon completion of the second round of play.

With the Stableford point system points are awarded on a net basis and scoring is done weekly using 80 percent of your score. This allows you to miss up to two nights without being eliminated from the chance of winning prizes.

If you miss one week, you may make up that week by coming twice the next week. Similarly, you may play twice one week knowing you cannot make the following week. The goal is to make the league as user friendly as possible.

Best of all, league players may continue to play golf with cart after their league 9-hole round until dark.

Prizes:

Prizes are awarded at the Complimentary End of Season Banquet on October 23. You do not need to be present to pick up your prize.

Scores will not be posted after completion of the 4th round to prevent players from intentionally throwing a shot or two to win prizes. All rounds and scores will be posted on October 17.

Chestnut Hill is known for great prizes and making sure that players of all abilities have the chance to win. You could come in 20th or 30th place and still win a major prize.
